Geographical introduction
Boalmari upazila is located in the south-west of Faridpur district. The area of ​​the upazila is 262.34 sq km and the total number of households is 3526. It is bounded by madhukhali upazila on the north, alfadanga upazila on the south, faridpur sadar and nagarkanda upazilas on the east and alfadanga and mohammadpur upazilas on the west. Among the main rivers of Boalmari upazila are Madhumati river and old Kumar river
